Technical Services
We provide computing support services to the Faculty of Education which include:
Macintosh and Windows desktop computer support
We are available to assist staff when technical problems are encountered with any supported computing equipment. This may include meeting with you to analyze the problem and testing the equipment to determine the source of the problem in order to resolve the issue. File and web server administration
EdTech Services provides academic and support staff with access to secure space on Faculty servers for file storage and research related websites.
Backup of faculty servers and desktop systems
We regularly back up Faculty servers and, if requested, faculty desktop computers.
Database development and administration
We provide support for web-based database systems that have general utility for the Faculty as a whole. This includes design, programming, operation, hosting and backup, and recovery support.

Live Event Services
EdTech Services provides support to the four departments and SLIS for Faculty-related live events. This includes audio-visual consultation, set-up, recording and video editing services for your class or event. Contact your department for further information.
Videoconferences
The Faculty houses two Videoconferencing suites that can be booked by faculty and staff for Faculty-related events. Rooms are equipped with cameras, large video monitors, projectors, microphones and an interactive whiteboard.
